Carbopol® Ultrez 30 polymer, from Lubrizol, is a cross-linked homopolymer of polyacrylic acid and is used as a rheology modifier.

Product Description

    Carbopol® Ultrez 30 offers good electrolyte tolerance, high thickening performance in a broad pH range, and a rich, distinct sensory in challenging skin care formulations. It also allows formulators to achieve desired rheological and aesthetic properties in the presence of electrolytes or acidic actives required for consumer products.

    This speciality ingredient is particularly suitable for AP/Deo products, body care, skin care, sun care, and sanitisation formulations.

    • Easy to use

    • Offers a pleasant sensorial experience and rich creaminess

    • Thickens efficiently at low levels (0.1-0.2 wt%) in electrolyte-free systems, making it a good candidate for formulating simple chassis

    • Thickens over a broad pH range (pH 4.0-12.0), enabling potential applications with active ingredients at low or high pH
